Faeq Alrimawi joined a panel discussion on “Kind Computing” with other three distinguished panelists (David Bush, Katie Crowely and Eamonn Kennedy), organised by Clare McInerney. Faeq spoke about the need to consider explicitly kindness – a human nature and a widespread phenomenon – in computing, which is largely silent about it.

Kind Computing is a new computing paradigm that Faeq Alrimawi and Bashar Nuseibeh propose to investigate the incorporation of kindness into the development and use of digital technologies. To know more about this new paradigm, you can read their position paper, published at ICSE-NIER’22, and/or watch a presentation of it here.
